This Giving Tuesday, let’s uplift the important work of local nonprofits who do so much for our community. There are so many wonderful organizations in our community that give me HOPE during these difficult times. Naming them all would make this post too long to read, but I would like to share just a handful that I have a personal connection with, and I invite my friends and followers to do the same in the comments.

@rustincenter in Princeton serves as essential support for the local LGBTQIA Community. They provide a safe space that is open to the community, and organize many important events and initiatives.

@chubbysproject is a hyperlocal nonprofit here in Hopewell Boro dedicated to food justice and building community.

@homefrontnj 's mission is to end homelessness in Central NJ by harnessing the caring, resources, and expertise of the community.

@hoperisesup grew out of the momentum of the 2017 Woman’s March, and seeks to make social and political advocacy accessible to the community. They host small local events and are working on 2025 plans.

@seedstosew is based right here in Hopewell Borough. They have a lovely local gift shop to support their work, which helps support young women in Kenya by providing meaningful empployment and education.

@sourland_conservancy is working tirelessly to protect, promote and preserve the local forests, wetlands, and grasslands of the Sourland Region, which provide essential refuge to wildlife and native plant species.

@ssaamuseum is doing the monumental and important task of sharing the history of the strong African American community in our community.

@younitynj ,(formerly known as Womanspace) is the leading provider serving victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Mercer Co.
